Month of February Trivia Questions

Here we go folks here is the trivia questions for February and good luck.

1. How many carriers did the Japanese have at the Battle of Midway?

2. How many US Airbourne Divisions participated in the Battle of the Bulge and name them?

3. The Battle of the Wilderness during the Civil War was a draw. What did Grant do that no other General did against Lee after the Battle?

4. Name the only Battle after formal declaration of war did the US suffer more casualities than the Japanese during WW2?

I feel like the answer to 1 is 6, or 7, due to the carriers with the main body and landing force, I'm not counting the units sent to the Aleutians.
I believe, because I'm playing fair and not looking any of this up, that the number is 4, and they were the 11th, 17th, 82nd, and 101st.

Wait, I was thinking land battles. I "think" the answer is the 4 day naval battle of guadalcanal, in which admirals scott and callaghn died.

2. 101st an 82nd, and 17th airborne.
3. He refused to retreat even tho he lost the battle an pushed forward.

Here are the answers.
1. 4 - large carriers - Akagi, Hiryu, Kaga, Soryu
2 - Light Carriers - Zuiho, Hosho
4 - Seaplane Carriers - Chitose, Kamikawa Maru, Chiyoda, Nisshin

2. 3 – 82nd 101st and 17th (11th Airbourne only fought in the Pacific) (Boogie got correct)

3. Marched South around the Confederate Flank and tried to cut off Lee from Richmond which led to the Battle of Spotsylvania.
To explain this before all union generals commanding the Army of the Potomac before Grant that even after a draw would retreat north and go into camp giving Lee the intiative. Grant simply
flanked moved south and kept the pressure on Lee. Grant constantly kept the pressure on and continued to move south never giving Lee the intiative again in the war.
(this is question where Boogie and Krimzon get a half point.)

4. Iwo Jima - here are the numbers - US 6836 killed, 19361 wounded total 26197 - Japanese 17,845–18,375. Note these totals do not include prisoners and missing.
As far as naval battle of guadelcanal - here are the totals and ships sunk -US 1,732 and Japenese 1,900 (this does not include Japanese Army soldiers killed or wounded on the transports that were beached or sunk)
US 2 - light cruisers sunk and 7 - destroyers sunk,
Japanese - 2 - battleships sunk, 3 - destroyers sunk and 7 - Transports sunk and 4 - Transports beached and destroyed
